Course and Speed (Ground) Control

This control accepts NMEA sentences RMA, RMV, and VTG via the RMA, RMC, and VTG Methods. The VTG Method will accept both the old and new NMEA Standard format. The control displays either Magnetic and True course, and speed in either Knots, Miles Per Hour, or Killometers Per Hour.

This is example of the Night Property being set to "True."
This is example of the Twilight Property being set to "True."
The background colors for Speed and Course are interdependant; one may also set the font colors for Speed and Course interdependantly.

Error Codes

0 - No current error.
1 - Speed must be from 0 to 300.
2 - Course must be from 0 to 360.
3 - NMEA Sentence passed to RMA was empty.
4 - NMEA Sentence passed to RMA appears malformed.
5 - NMEA Sentence passed to RMC was empty.
6 - NMEA Sentence passed to RMC appears malformed.
7 - NMEA Sentence passed to VTG was empty.
8 - NMEA Sentence passed to VTG appears malformed.
